While the internet is busy enjoying the fashion moments, larger-than-life decor, and musical extravaganza of the elaborate functions, we thought to surprise your culinary senses with the delicacies served during these days.
As per a guest, who was part of the celebration, the day 2 lunch was all about Indian regional cuisine. While the list of savory dishes was countless, the unique Indian desserts served for lunch in all-glass crockery stole the show.
The guest mentioned exclusively to ETimes that there were a total of 5 types of one-bowl desserts, halwas, chikkis, and traditional Bengali and Gujarati dishes served to the gathering of approximately 600 during the lunch hours that were made by a team of trained chefs by Lucknow-based Sweets and Namkeen brand Chhappan Bhog.
Explaining the one-bowl desserts, the guest mentioned that the first dessert included rabdi mixed with pineapple slices and pistachios and was also topped with pistachio slices. Next, chenna (cottage cheese) was thickened with milk, flavored with jaggery and Macadamia nuts, and garnished with roasted nuts. The third dish was a unique blend of banana, condensed milk, and pine nuts, served in mini glass bowls. As per sources, the one that was loved the most by the guests and the Ambani family was the kesar mango dessert served with a topping of dry fruits.
